Again this year some young kids set off joyfully with their Optimists for one of the greatest events of the national youth sailing calendar, Primavela.
At the same time as the youth championships for the single-handed classes there will also be the national Sailing School meeting: they will be held in Viareggio from August 25 to September 2.
In particular little Pio Francesco Verde from August 26 to August 28 will be on the water on the 2009 kids Optimist course for the Primavela cup.
Gabriel De Luca will take part in the 2007 born kids’competition for the President’s cup.
Meanwhile Davide Esposito and Lorenzo Angrisano as they await for the start of the Italian Championships on August 30 will train in the meetings organised by the V zone in Viareggio for Optimists and Laser Radials.
Pietro Piscopo of the sailing school group was also chosen to take part in the national meeting during which, under the guidance of Marcello Turchi, he will learn through playing new aspects of sailing and have the chance to try out new boats and make new friends.
