The first appointment of the day was a visit guided by Salvatore Moscia, originally from Benevento, to his private laboratory. After studying at the MIT and beginning a research job, Salvatore continued to develop on his own project with great potential, setting up with others a company that already has 10 employees based on a patent that can make the production of pharmaceuticals more efficient by continuous production, making them much cheaper. The kids were thus again able to come into direct contact with a successful company, learning that with commitment and intelligent ideas you can in the end create something good.
After lunch at Starbucks, together with Giovanni Abbadessa and his young children, the group of young Mascalzones visited the Boston Science Museum, where they were quite fascinated by the spiders, though Dino turned out to be a great fan of frogs! Francesca was more interested in physics and mathematics.
Later, as happened last year, we had to visit Little Italy, where we had dinner with another two members of the PIB with Fausto, a Harvard researcher, and Pasquale, a computer scientist who gave Dino some ideas on the choice of high school.
